As an Armenian born in Istanbul Turkey, it seemed as though Melkon Degirmentas was predestined to become a jeweller. Melkon entered the jewellery business at the very young age of 16 years old, which gave him a head-start in developping his craftsmanship to serve his industry for years to come. In 1980, Melkon knew he had enough experience under his belt to take the giant leap from Istanbul, all the way to Montreal, Canada. Since then, he has become one of the most prestigious jewellery manufacturers in the Country.

Today, Melkon continues to create stunning jewellery pieces made with only the highest quality stones, while maintaining his unsurpassed level of craftsmanship. He has brought in his wife and children into the business to assist him with the service department to ensure all buyers have an enjoyable experience, from the beginning right until the end.
